DIY Livery Wanted Newton Aycliffe/Darlington

Can anyone suggest any DIY yards with vacancies for 2 horses close to Newton Aycliffe?

No idea if they have any vacancies, or what they are like, but there are a couple of diy yards on the Heighington - Walworth road; one was advertising vacancies fairly recently.

Thanks for the info i know of one yard on the walworth road in Heighington but wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
I didn't know there was another yard, can you dig out more info?

Hi, I think the other yard is fairly new, I only noticed because I drive past regularly; I *think* it's Westholme Farm, will check next time I'm passing.

I use to be at Westholme but it closed down as the owners split up.

Oh that's a shame, it can't have been going for very long? Have you tried Brookside at High Coniscliffe although it might be a bit far?

I think there's a yard at Middridge too, but no idea what that's like and there's one recently opened on the A66 near Morton Park, big hooves little paws? There was also a few diy livery spaces advertised on the noticeboard in Farmway if that's any help.

Lea close equestrian at great stainton. A lot of people from aycliffe have their horses there. Don't know if there are any vacancies tho.
