Hi there,
We looked at a beautiful livery yard just outside of Bath yesterday, large american Barn with huge stables, ex turnout. It appears to be a good area for hacking etc, has anyone any experience of the rides or the yard? I dont think it has been open very long. thanks J

Is that the trekking centre? If so then no its on a farm in the centre of the village up a little lane twards combe hay. I was planning on looking at the shellards as well though so any info would be greatfully received, thanks :)

Wellow is a great place to ride you have loads of places around that way to hack to can go for miles once you know your way around without going onto roads etc. Dont know the yard you looked at only know centre one.

hi i am also looking for a new livery yard if anyone knows of any cheapish diy yards near odd down, englishcombe areas im looking for a stable for one and maybe grass livery for the other. thankyou

Is that yvonnes place? Mum and daughter run it?
I found them lovely, really helpful and do a pay as you go livery so you just txt if you can't make it in and she will do it for you as they live on site.

If wellow trekking my son has rides there, it's always very busy but seems friendly enough.

I looked at the same place also, a couple of weeks ago. Really lovely people, mother and daughter. Sadly it's not an ideal set up for my lot, 4 of them with special needs....but if I was just looking for a space for one or two normal horses I'd be there like a shot. Spectacular riding in that area.
