DIY or grass livery wanted near Stotfold

I am shortly moving to Stotfold and would like to move my horses to the area. I'm looking at the Stotfold, Weston, Baldock, Letchworth, Ickleford area but could go out in the other direction ie Biggleswade / Sandy areas.

It would be for 3-4 horses and must have good hacking and have no restrictions on when I can visit.

Thank you. I have looked at their website several times but I've heard good and bad! I've heard the grazing is not particularly good and I'm always a bit concerned when I have to buy hay and bedding from the yard owner. Not sure what the hacking is like either - any ideas?

Hacking is good, you can hack round the fields or go out to the lanes and there's a whole network of lovely bridleways. I've heard good and bad and am considering it for my two at present but one is retired and very stressy and the other only in light work so may opt for something with 'better' grazing and no facilities instead.

There's also grass livery on the Everton estate.

Thanks for that. I have to have very good hacking as I compete at Endurance so ride for miles. Perhaps I should pop up there and see what bridleways are about. I don't want really good grazing and to be honest would rather have hardly any in the summer as one of mine has cushings.

Is the Everton estate near Biggleswade and if so, do you have a contact number?

Whereabouts are you at present with your horses and why do you want to move?

Everton is about a mile away from Potton xc course, if that helps? Several new yards have sprung up there over the past year or two.
