Hi,
My husband has been posted to Cheltenham in June and I will follow a little later. However I need to find a nice DIY livery yard for my young TB mare.
I have been spoilt as the yard I'm at now has great hacking, Xc course, big school and sj set up. 24/7 turn out in summer straw and fab haylege inc in price.

Any one have any ideas?

Will also need a good equine vet and farrier.

Any help greatly appreciated

Lor ;)

Not sure about livery yards but I always used to use Mike Daly as my vet and he was brilliant (Woodlands Veterinary Clinic) and Ben Howson was my farrier. Was always very reliable and good prices :)

Only just seen this so not sure if you are still looking. Can recommend Church Farm Livery Yard shurdington BHS approved so gives an indication of standard, google and you will see more details. Would also recommend Woodlands as vets and they are only approx 2 miles from the yard. Personally farrier I would suggest Jim Slimmings, changed to him following previous problems with both horses feet and he has made a real difference.

Can't help on the livery front, I'm afraid, as those are seriously good facilities to match. But I am another vote for Woodlands vets. Phil Brush is another excellent and reliable farrier. Facebook's Gloucestershire Horse Riders group will offer plenty of recommendations.
