Dizzy is still lame

Aw hun, thats rubbish news. Had been wondering how you were getting on.

Is this still the stiffness that the vet thought was a tweak last week?

What does the physio/chiro say?

Ta hun :)

Spoken to vet! Manic day, poor woman. Says that as there has been a slight improvement to leave her on field rest for another week. If not improved then we talk to Sue at the AHT.

The physiotherapist is coming on Tuesday (I love that man - when I squeak he comes galloping to the rescue :)).

Given that Dizz has grown so much again (going to attempt to put some piccies on, but phone is being a bit special...) and is looking like a whippet (good if you're a whippet, not so good if you're a Dutch Warmblood!), the recovery plan is:

Pessoa and lunge five times a week for four weeks;
During that time D1 to ride her twice a week, as she is so much lighter than me;
Change her feed: put her onto Equijewel (think I've got that name right!) and build her up again. I had cut the Linseed because it was making her whappy, so am aiming for low starch now; keep her in at night, even though they can go out 24/7 soon, so she gets spends her nights chomping on haylage.
