I have about 70 of all ages - from foals to retired oldies. The longest any go between trims is 10-11 weeks - average is 8-9 weeks and the odd youngster with a crooked foot will be trimmed every 2-3 weeks until he straightens. Shod horses go between 4 and 8 weeks depending on feet and the work they're doing. Farrier is here every Wednesday morning, without fail!
