Should "Animal Welfare" charities and organisations need be more regulated by the government?
We've all heard stories of some of these organisations ignoring animals in need, trespassing when it suits them and wasting large sums of money. I agree with the solicitor who created the petition that governmental scrutiny and oversight of these organisations would prevent any abuses of power or excesses of spending from occurring, and ensure none of them ever break the law. Hopefully it would mean animal welfare organisations can do more of what they do best - looking after animals in need.
