Do anti mud sprays work??

I think we actually have a hippo in a horses body!! He is a mud monster, to cut down on grooming time if nothing else, do these sprays actually work and if they do which are best? Xx

I've never heard of them. I always use baby oil on my horses legs and that works. I wouldn't be surprised if they are made up of the same stuff.

no idea if they work. but if you rub baby oil into worst effected areas doesn't stick so much or mane and tail can work too.

Haven't tried it myself but a friend swears by Nettex 7 day mud away (or something called something very similar!)

I use mane and tail spray it helps the mud to slide off when u are grooming

My horse IS actually a hippo, and it even works on him!

We use Pig Oil on all the horses for hunting. Works brilliantly and is cheap. Baby Oil is the same. For my chestnut I use IV Horse Mud Away which is brilliant.
