Do calmers work?

Just wanted to know peoples opinions on calmers please.... Which ones work, in what situations did you use them and which would you reccomend?
As there are so many to choose from and they can be expensive i just thought i would see which everyone thought was best.

I used to use global herbs supercalm and found it moderately effective. I fed it daily. Only stopped as the horse has grown up and calmed down.

Nupafeed's calmer is first rate. I also use Liquid Magic, but not for its calming effects but for its Magnesium content!
