My horse is a good doer and I'm afraid to say looks a bit on the podgy side at the moment, but I am convinced she looks worse because she is grey - a bit like your bum looking much bigger when you were white trousers! Does anyone else believe in this theory?
(and before anyone starts lecturing me, I am well aware of the dangers of overweight horses and am trying to manage her feeding and turnout accordingly).

From my two horses, I would personally say that grey looks thinner - sorry! And no lectures from me, some horses are just such good doers they look podgy on nothing.

another whos horse is podgy on nothing!

Not sure about the colours - remember my little welsh ponies who were all grey looked huge but they were podgy! my mare always looked thinner being a white/grey though!
