Do horses get embarrased? I think mine does!

Had the blacksmith today and the vet. Now last time the blacksmith came he threatend to come with clippers this time lol so today i cut some opaque tights in half and cut the toes off. After much sweating, pulling huffing and puffing i got them on, then vet wrapped the tops to keep them in place. Well she looked like she had leg warmers on bless her. The vet arrived before the blacksmith and when i opened the stable door she started laughing! oh the shame poor Katie.

lol, not for a while probs! lol. When one of our old boys first went lame he had to go to the vets for x-rays i.e. long day with travelling in a trailer on devon lanes. Anyway the next day the next day he was lying down in his box, which he quite often does, absolutly fast asleep, i mean not doseing, acctually asleep. well he kept nearly falling flat and every time sitting up again, as he did this half a dozen times quite a crowd had appeared (national trust propperty and the stables have bars accross one wall so people can look in) anyway then gravity won over and he fell flat waking him self up, then jumped to his feet, looked at me with an "I didnt do it" look on his face then hid in the back of his box for the rest of the day! he never did live it down. he was a very posh boy and always did like things being done propperly, most uncouth moments he ever had
 
Charlie was showing off to a mare, high stepping up and down the fence squeeling his little head off when he slipped on some mud and went flying.
He picked himself up of the floor and quickly trotted away to hide in the field shelter.
If horses could blush he would have been glowing!!
 
My mare will not wee in pulbic, we think it is embarassing for her, she waits till she gets home! It doesn't matter how long she is out for. Our old TBxWelsh mare had to have a urine sample taken and she was so shocked at us collecting it. She obviously thought we were VERY perverted.
