George has been a bit grumpy this week, can't find any sore spots or niggley bits on him, he just seems well a little grumpy

his coat is all coming out and I am also putting a light sheet on him at night in a vain attempt to stop him turning into a teddy bear and was wondering if this would make him a bit fed up

Of course it could be because the yard will only let him have 4hrs turnout a day

mine gets a bit grumpy about his rugs. Clipped him today and suggested that maybe he needed a turnout on overnight. He was very grumpy about this! SO maybe it is the rug that makes you boy grumpy. Could also be the change in weather.

I've been too sickly to ride for nearly 2 weeks so my boy has been turned out - he does stand around the gate looking pretty fed up about it all. Its a shame you can only get 4 hours turnout a day

I think some do get grumpy or moody when their coats are changing, though Merlin is starting to get his really thick winter coat and usually gets a bit stroppy but has been fine so far.
Mind you I get moody / grumpy for no reason whatsoever so spose horses can too!
