I was up the yard the other day and was chatting to another livery, she asked me about my mare and how she was going and then asked me if horses got stretch marks! Initially I thought: what an absurd question, but the answer was that I really didn't know! I have never seen a clipped out horse with stretch marks, and perhaps this is because the elasticity in their skin is so different that it is something that they do not get, or it could just be that there are horse out there with stretch marks and I just haven't seen them.
So, who better to pose the question to than you lot of lovelies... if there was a stretch mark to be seen on a horse, someone on here would have seen it
