Do I have the only spangle....

Mine are the same, a right pair of wimps about rain. Happy to go for a walk in it and get completely soaked but open the back door and suggest they go for a wee! No thanks!! I have an open fronted porch over my back door where we keep all our boots, walking stuff and leads, they both go to the edge, stick their noses out and if they feel rain come back indoors. If Alfie is desperate he will turn round and cock his leg up the corner of the porch but Chloe seems to be able to go all day without a wee if necessary, never has an accident indoors, bless her. Funny little dogs arent they!!

none of my dogs will! They all walk in it or spend all day working in it....but needlessly go out in the garden for a wee...no chance, they would rather sit and cross their legs!

Do you know, I hadn't thought about this until now, but Fred (who isn't a spangle) simply won't go into the garden for a wee when it is raining but will spend hours fetching sticks from a lake or river. What's that about?

Mine put their heads out of the dog flap, one after another and retract asap! Zak's normal routine is to fling himself out of the dog flap, fling himself over the four foot fence, pelt up the garden, wee, back to the gate looking like he has no idea how to get over the fence  This morning, he looked at the fence, went for a wee on the gravel as trained, back in, back on bed. Wuss!

My lot are impossible to get out of water when out walking, impossible to get in rain!

Archie is exactly the same!

Yes and unfortunately I am living in a second floor flat. So woken up as a matter of urgency, shoes on down we go, get to the front door...erm no! Back up we go.

She has had two lovely walks today through the puddles and next to the canal...but we don't wee in rain.
