Do I need to plait my pony for hunting (cubbing) tomorrow?

i am going hunting for the first time tomorrow.

i know you don't plait til the opening meet, but i don't know when that is or if its happened yet
so do i go plaited or not will the opening meet have happened?

Hi,

I don't know which Hunt you are going with, but it is extremely unlikely that it will have had its Opening Meet yet. Most Hunts open at the very end of Octoer or the beginning of November.

The best thing for you to do is to telephone the Hunt Secretary (you should be able to find a number if you look for the name of the Hunt on the MFHA Website (http://www.mfha.org.uk/)), and you can ask him/her all sorts of questions.

It's good manners to telephpone the Secreatry anyway, if you are visiting any hunt for the first time, just to let them know to look out for you. You can then ask them if there is anything you as a visitor need to know.
