So after my car accident yesterday, I went to the doctors earlier who diagnosed whiplash and gave me some exercises to do. He also told me yo continue with normal exercise to help my neck get better quicker. So I was thinking do I take the boy out on a steady hack in walk?

Sorry to hear about your accident, if the dr has said to carry on with normal activities then a gentle hack in walk sounds like a plan, just don't go as far and know your limit.

Do what you feel comfortable with. My whiplash atm is causing me to tilt my head, so I wouldn't be happy riding personally, especially as heads are heavy and affect balance a lot! What exercises did the doctor give you out of curiousity OP?

VVD - I have whiplash and had extensive physio. Given heaps of exercises that I still do if bad. I'll see if I can dig them out for you.

I was in a similar accident to yours about 7 weeks ago. I rode for about 30 mins, round the village, a couple of weeks after accident and was in agony with cramps a while after getting off. Then I saw physio, who advised me not to ride although she told me to get plenty of gentle exercise and suggested walking. I don't think medics are talking about riding when they say normal exercise!

I would be wary of riding. My ultra safe boy really shied at a lawnmower tonight, those sort of things can happen when you least expect them. I would try and hold out if you can.

Vvd he told me to put my chin on my chest and the tilt my head back, look to the left, then the right, then tilt my head to the left then to the right.
Been told to do them 30 mins after painkillers for 5-10mins a day, 4 times a day.
He also told me not toet the pain dictate what I do. He said by exercising I won't be doing any harm to my neck.
