I've just got a lovely new pair of leather boots but they feel just a tiny bit too high at the back when I Bend my leg.
Do they tend to drop once worn in? PXL_20221104_142504170_copy_1536x2040.jpg

Everyone said they would but my Ariats never did. I bought raisers a year after buying them. My god the blisters they gave me when I rode before the raisers! Ouch.

I have the same problem with my Ariats, the leather has neither softened or dropped despite assurances it would! Been over a year now...keep being told to wear them around the house but they flippin hurt! Now they're mostly a very expensive ornament in my utility room as I've got nothing to ride at the moment

Mine feel fine foot wise, it's just the bit at the back of my knee, it's not unbearable......just irritating!
My boots only cost £50 though so at least I haven't spent fortunes!

I bought a pair of Toggi Calgary boots that ended up being about 2 inches too tall for me to bend my legs in, so I recently took them to a cobbler who shortened them for me, did a pretty good job too and only charged £20!

If it's just a smidge too long though, I'd go for the riser inserts :)

Thet do drop but use heal raisers or I just fold up a small sock and place it in the heal its normally just enough to lift it a bit to stop it bleeding behind the knee which is what mine did ?
