Do leather leathers damage synthetic saddles?.

Will they badly mark and damage the saddle flaps?.A friend has told me never to use leather on synthetic as it will ruin the saddle but i'm Totally skint now after buying a Wintec wide saddle but i only have leather leathers but dont want to damage the saddles!.Anyone??.

yes, i was advised to use synthetic wintec ones, but i have slight arthritis in my hands and they can be a pain in the winter so I use leather.

it wont ruin it, just mark and rub it.

I was told that too, don't know if its true though! Not sure if its something to do with the oil from the leathers damaging the flaps maybe

Generally it is always best to use synthetic with synthetic and leather with leather, as the saddles will otherwise become marked.
