Do magnetic boots work? And which ones?

As title really. Are magnetic boots all they're cracked up to be?

Would be esp interested if anyone has used them after surgery or for suspensory ligs.

The 2 I've found are bioflow and the Premier Equine ones. Are either of these better than any other? The premier equine ones look like they'd offer more support ie the same as bandaging?

Or are there any others you'd rate highly?

Thanks x x

My friend swears by the bioflow boots for her mare who's legs fill when stabled...must admit they do help as the couple of times she's left them off the mare has had puffy legs the next morning.

Have the bioflow ones and yes do seem to work very well on swollen legs(do not use if open wounds on legs tho)
Can't comment on the other ones as haven't used them

We used Bioflow boots very successfully on a very lame all round welshxTB. Her problem was arthritis/rheumatism. She wore them inside for 12 hrs the 1st night, went out for twelve hrs without them and TROTTED back in. They made alot of difference to her for 3 mths. Then she had a stroke and was pts. Don't think the stroke and boots were linked.
Her friend who had rheumatism and whose legs filled when in overnight also wore them successfully for about 3 yrs. Haven't tried any other make so can't comment but would recommend using magnet boots of some kind.

deffo use bioflow, they have a very large science behind their products, they dont just put magnets in things!

Ah ha this is the type of thing I was hoping someone would say! lol

Thanks everyone, think I've made my mind up which ones I'll be getting then x x

Bioflow wraps - more versatile than boots as you can fit them above the knees and hocks as well as below. My arthritic mare has been noticeably better in them. They also really seem to help in laminitis cases.
