Do my plans seem realistic to you people in the know?

Ok so I am planning my year with the coloured. After the razz of teamchasing he is having a month in the field winding down and chilling out. Then I hope to BSJA him. He jumps 1.20 at home but that is out of my comfort zone for an sj comp at the moment, I would like to start him BN and aim for DCs. Does this sound reachable? Want to perhaps do an intro on a ticket, that isnt such a must, im not a dressage girl, but I wanted to do one just for the change.

It's always worth a go, and it sounds very realistic to me

Yes very reachable. One of my babies got all his double clears BN in first 6 weeks last year for this years second rounds then he got another 4 just to show off in the following 2 months and is now trying to to collect his Discovery double clears too, he's 6yo this year and mainly he jumps only in summer when living out because he is a goon in the winter when he is stabled. my other 6yo took 6 months to get her double clears BN and is now doing Discovery only and my 4yo (well 5 now I suppose) has 2 double clears BN and a place Discovery and she's done about 6 show total.

Go for it.
I am not a serious competitor but I am gonna push myself this year. We have 3 DC`s and need just one more for the BN. We have to be careful tho as we have won £96 notional.
The secret is to keep going as my problem is that when we go out, and we meet a problem, it puts me off going for a while.
Good Luck

You never know you might enjoy the dressage

The only time in my life I have enjoyed the dressage is when I was on board Ros's champion hunter Belg WB who just did it all for you, serious serious push button ride, and somehow, neither Oshk, nor eric or crusso fit that bill
