Im thinking of buying a rambo fly rug with the insecticide in it.. are these any good??

My two both wear Fly rugs ... TB a Premier Equine one and my old boy a Rambo Hoody and they are brilliant at keeping the pesky bu&&ers away

Not sure whether the one with Insectide, is worth the extra cost, I always worry in case the type of insecticide is too strong or if they were allergic to it and then you would have to stop using it, but I am a born worrier, so ignore me lol

I've got the Rambo Protector, I think that it's great! Not only does it give good cover, doesn't slip etc but it has really good ventilation as the mesh is large. I'm not sure that the insecticide one is worth having?? if the rug does the job, why do you need insecticide?

My veteran ned wore the Rambo Bug Buster (or whatever it's called - the insecticide one) all last summer and it's been brilliant. It's going back on him this week. Well worth the money I think.
