Agility courses must contain the three contact obstacles (A frame, dog walk and seesaw), jumping courses do not contain contacts. All standard classes must contain weaves, however.
The latter two are usually peculiar to UKA rather than KC - a steeplechase is a fast, flowing course of jumps and tunnels only. Gamblers is where all obstacles are assigned a points value and you have a certain amount of time to accumulate as many points as possible by making up your own combinations, followed by a pre-determined sequence in a sort of double or quits style.
Where steeplechase, gamblers or other 'games' classes are scheduled at KC shows they come under 'special' classification so wins/points in these cannot be used for progression through the grades.
have a look on UK agility,it explains everything.
you can enter on the day too and everyone is really friendly and helpful.
(most of my pics have watermarks on so cant share)
Gemma haycock runs a staffy very successfully, at Champ / Crufts ABC's etc. We have one train with us that's sweet, that one is not particularly fast, but have seen some at shows that have been good little dogs.
Lovely photo! did you ever get to see the east Anglican staffie rescue display team at crufts? I know a few people who run staffords in agility with tremendous success. No 2 bitch has done a bit as well and loved it
