After a below par run at Barbury I had Ed's bloods checked and it showed that he was slightly anaemic, so he is on an iron supplement now. Then Tuesday I got a call from the yard to say ed had been kicked in the leg overnight and had a long cut just above the knee on the near fore and that his leg was huge. So rush over to see him, leg is huge , so vet out again and Ed now on antibiotics and bute. So here's hoping these things don't come in three's as I don't think I can get anymore medicine in his feed.
