a long story i will make it brief i loaned a horse on the understanding that if they no longer wanted her she was to come back to me
one day i contacted the lady and asked if she was ok only to be told she had been pts 8mnths earlier from colic with no call telling me such

deverstated is a understatement

today i recieved a phone call from a friend to say that one of her liveries used to ride her and the lady had sold her on

horse was called the dark crystal ( raffles) black hackney x dob 1989ish 4 white socks and white muzzle

she would have been sold from surrey area

if anyone knows her or has any info on her i would love to know

Have you heard of the newish website Missing Horses On Loan? Perhaps if you contacted them they may be able to help and advise you on what to do next. Also on this website is another situation similar to yours under News Items, where a loan horse presumed to have been pts turned up a few years later.

Also have you tried contacting the nearest Horsewatch group to try and help you?

Hope you can get some advice and help to put you in the right direction.
