The bit that would concern me is the "not been ridden since before xmas" - are you selling him as seen from the field, or will you be showing him ridden and letting prospective buyers ride him?
Dont know if this will be a factor but it says in the advert that he is snaffle mouthed but in the last picture it looks like he is ridden in a waterford, (could just be my eyes as i havn't got my glasses on) but i know that would put me off.
hi yes th pic are of the girl i bought him from and it is a waterford god knows why as he aint strong and i ride him in a kk snaffle they r the only picx i have
what a nice horse. surely you can find 1/2 an hour a day to ride him for a week or two, i'm sure it would pay off massively. most people don't want to risk going and sitting on a strange horse that's had a break, i think, or they might be suspicious about why he's had time off. sorry, but that might be why you haven't had any calls. he's too small for me unfortunately.

I tried horsemart and sold my 5 yr old "done nothing" horse for 6K in 2 days.
I would personaly look at your grammar and spelling. Ok so it has nothing to do with the horse, but it does put people off.
I think the price is too low. £2250 is better. to most people Lowering price just syas there is something wrong with your horse and you cant sell it.
no real need to tell people his name, but if he has raced he must have breeding? tell people about his breeding if there is naything worth telling, but you want to leave out the part about him being an ex racer (?) it can put some people off. If they ask then you have to be honest, but if they dont .....
try something like.
15.3hh, 5yrs. Geniune forward going ride, soft mouth, needs schooling on. good to handle, catch clip, road, box, shoe (ETC, etc)
great potential but wasted in current home due to time.
ideal sj/dressage bla bla
I totally agree with liztuguinness - rewrite your ad, it will help, and without making the advert longwinded (keep it punchy) you need to be a little more honest about the reasons why etc. Good luck.
