Anyone had any experiance with vacuum groomers. Pretty skeptical about them, plus, they're pretty pricey..

No experience of "proper" horse vacuum groomers but I have a friend that uses a henry the hoover with the brush attachment that comes with it on everything including their stallions. Horses love it and friend swears by it and they all have lovely coats.

Used one for years - one of my favourite bits of kit. I have health issues and 9 horses to do so OH bought it as a pressy - really helped.

Yep, they are brilliant at lifting all the dust off, faster than brushing it out, not that we get to use ours much these days!

I have a Flextol rotary groomer that is fab. Grooms, and massages whilst doing it, plus gets babies really used to strange things that actually feel really good. They love it once they have tried it.

Lol, that took me back years! The first hunting livery yard I worked at in '65 (!
) had one; it was the first time I had ever seen one let alone used it; it terrified me at first. Great bit of kit, the horses loved it and it gave great results once I had remembered to change direction of the brush depending on which bit of the horse I was doing else it would whizz off; do the new models still do that? Good to hear Flextol are still going when so many good firms are going by the wayside.
