Do weekday sharers exist?

The Unsuitable Arab I share is potentially up for sale. I'm trying to persuade the owner that what she needs is the help of a weekday-only sharer to get her through a busy patch.

I was thinking of someone like a housewife or retired person who would be available regularly in daylight hours.

Are there people like that out there or would *everyone* need more than just the odd weekend day in addition to weekdays?
 
I'm the opposite I work part time so can ride in the week but could do with someone to ride at the weekend so OH doesn't feel like I'm abandoning him for the horse!
 
Uni students are perfect for this. They usually had horses but had to give them up for Uni and have spare time during the week. Get in touch with the Uni riding club and they should be able to help you out.

I'm at uni (supposedly- i mean 8hours a week- come on!!) so can ride alllll day on my days off. And do work... obviously...

I know loads of students would be the same, or maybe parents who need to ride whilst kids at school?
 
Thats what I am lookin for too! I am a vet nursing uni student (only have lectures 2-5 hours a week), looking to share only during the week because I need to go home some weekends, and if I don't my boyfriend comes to see me and wouldn't be too impressed if I abandoned him to go riding!

My only problem is that I have some confidence issues due to past problems then a bad fall, so I need to find someone with a confidence giver who wants a midweek sharer - I wonder if that is too much of an ask???

(ps this is my first ever post, I only signed up to to try make some more horsey contacts!)
 
Thanks everyone! Your ideas have really helped. I've spoken to the owner and agreed we can look for another sharer. :-)

Yep my DH would happily do a weekday only share, he is self employed so can ride whenever and could really do with saving some of the costs of his lessons...........
