that whatever you do you just cannot win

I love my boy to bits but he does drive me mad sometimes

It occured to me the other day when my friend was apologising for getting home late which meant we were late down the yard and said 'D is gonna be really cross with me now'
But the thing is, if you bring him in early he is sooooo cross in the morning because he has been in for too long but when you get there late to bring him in he is cross because you should of been there ages ago

You just cannot win

Work on the basis that he should be grateful to see you!!!

I think people humanise too much, although my neds are generally happy souls, the one who pulls faces gets done last so I swap and now they are all very polite!!

I do feel bad sometimes, like when it is rainig hard and she is out etc but at the end of the day she is a horse so its tough, she has to wait til i get there.
