do you find this time of year harder to ride

Maybe its me but I have only manged to ride my horse twice in the last month partly due to having to have all roadside hedges cut buy mid June (I cant afford to pay somebody so have to do them all myself) plus all the other normal field maintenance stuff like fertislizing, getting rid of noxious weeks etc etc. I work full time and at the mo and so wishing I didnt have to deal with alll the field stuff. Only have one more hedge to cut so hopfeully will get out on my boy sunday.

Its the easiest time of year for me to ride as can go out late evening or v early in the morn.

Plus, for the forst time in over a decade I dont have fields to maintain as I`m renting just now.
Although....I have hedges for the first time so they are proving a pain, god they grow quickly, wish my grass would do the same!
