do you get this with your dogs when in season??

iv got a jack russel, (one in sig) who will be a year old end on june, she has just started her first season today, iv not had a dog since i was tiny and only ever had a male so never experienced this. she isnt bleeding much at all, but she is farting every minute or so and they are horrendous!!! they smell awfull! is this a normal thing for dogs in season. she is on a new food that is the only one she will eat at the moment so i dont know wether its that or the season but shes been on the food around a week now and the farts started yesterday. not the nicest topic lol!!

I don't recall my last bitch suffering from wind when she was in season. Current one is spayed and suffers from wind from time to time (always food related).

My money is on it being the food.

Never had that problem with my bitch or anyone elses that i know. SOunds like the food. My bitch eats wildly when coming into season then goes off once it starts and doesn't eat much at all. Suppose it's a bit like woman and period pains!!

This post really made me laugh, was not at all what I was expecting to read. I have 2 entire pointer bitches and like the others would certainly suggest it's the food.
