As the post says really, would like to get some a Olympia but don't want to embarrass myself if they don't go over my ankles

I consider my self to have chunky calves as I cant fit in to narrow fitting leather riding boots. Just to give you an idea of my calf size ive just measured my calf at the widest part over my socks my right is 13inches and left 14inches(didnt know I had a fatter leg!!!)
And I have a pair of dubarrys and fit into them easy even with jeans tucked into them.

When I got mine on the stand & lady tried some on & they were to tight on her calves. They suggested going up half a foot size but putting in a fleecey sole to make the foot part smaller.
Which she tried & seemed happy with the fit.

Suppose it depends on calf to foot size as whether you will have problems or not?

I have a 7.5 foot size & my calf is 15" mine fit fine with jeans in them.

Im size 8 had to buy size 8.5 cos small on my ankle but my ankle naffed by horses my calfs far from small and I have plenty of room.

Thankyou everyone it seems I may be buying some new Dubarry's at Olympia, now what else would I like hmmm .
