I am debating whether to delete pics and vids I have of my last mare. She wrecked my confidence beyond belief but I did still love her to bits. I was just on You Tube and I have so many videos of me riding her. It makes me want to cry when I watch them so thinking I probably never will again. Should I just delete them and try to forget I ever had her?

No way! You could regret it in 10 years time. Take them off the internet, store them onto a CD or onto a Hard drive and put them somewhere safe.

You'll regret deleting them I'm sure, as cattysmith said put them on a disk or an external storage device. I have a massive amount stored this way, they cost nothing to keep and it's nice to have a trip down memory lane occasionally

We have got photos of ponies from over 40 years ago, there's no way we would get rid of them. I have also got every round of jumping my daughter ever rode on tape of various types from VHS to DV Tape........................... one day I must index it all???????????? :)

Biggest regret i have is not enough pictures, 3 years of dream horse and a photo for each year. Breaks my heart i could not keep him but at least i will always have my 3 pictures. You can hide them if you don't want to see them but once lost you will not get them back.

You are so lucky in this digital age that you have so many pictures. I greive about the fact that I have NO PICTURES of my first horse ,suddenly taken by colic. It was over 40 years ago but it still hurts.

You guys are right. I will make a special fileand save them in there. At least I wont have to see them everytime I look on YouTube or Photobucket. Thanks.

I have deleted some pictures of my horse as he was very poor when I brought him, and he now looks like a different horse so it upset me to see him like he was! I now only have pictures of him looking happy and healthy :)

Keep them! My parents weren't bothered about pics, & don't think they ever saw me ride, so had very few. And the majority my mum chucked one day in my teens. Later, when I left my ex husband in a rush, all but one album got left behind & I still regret it to this day. I still love looking at pics of the dogs I swiped from my parents when I moved out, some of which were taken before I was born. Apart from the odd one of an ex or a teenage crush, I never throw any.

Keep them!

I have probably well over 1000 pictures and hundreds of videos of my pony who I lost in july, and I still don't feel like I have enough!

They are so special and in 10 years time you will want to look back at them!
