ETS removed list as perhaps people who can't remember my old posts might think i'm being mean

Take yesterday for example, i got to yard in the evening to find they had cleared nearly all their stuff out the feed room and the tack room and had just left the tack room door wide open and all unlocked so anyone could have had our tack away - but its not theirs so they don't care

I emptied their barrow this morning, purely because i could predict if i didn't empty in the field, they would have emptied it this afternoon perhaps in the middle of the yard, in a stable, feed room, wherever they felt like it.

There had to be a reason they hadn't emptied it for ages!

Am just a little worried what they might do today, before they go

which is presume is what they are doing as the only thing left in their feed bit was 3 buckets of feed mixed up for this morning...

I can totally sympathise with you on that one....been there and wore the hat,so to speak..wouldn't do it again...Have my own yard and thats the way its going to stay from now on..Me myself & my gee's...
There is a saying "nout so weird as folk" well I can tell you some horsey people are certainly weird!!

I hope they do go for your sake - there's nothing like your own yard.

I have a dreadful girl where I keep my horses, unfortunately her parents own the land where my horses are. she wont shut gates etc, leaves her horse out all night no food, hay etc. hardly ever rides it then wonders why it bucks her off. I found it standing on ice blocks in its hooves last week where she had just thrown the poor animal in the stable and left it with no hay and half bucket of water and no rug. I sorted the animal out and picked its feet out etc.

Im just hoping they will sell the poor horse in the Spring so that I can go back to being on my own again.

Good luck with your situation.

At least they have gone and not taken anything of yours and not upset your horses...just think of how nice it will be now they have gone and dig in and muck out the last of the evidence that they were ever there.

Yep just me and B (and family) left now!! And now 8 horses, so we should be able to get through winter on the hay supplies we already have.

Can't wait for B to get back from holiday, feeding 5 horses before work is a mission for me!
