Do you know my horse freezemark F17 ?

Hi do you know my horse Taffee? His original name may not have been Taffee. He is approx 14.1 chesnut welsh type cob. he is a really sweet pony and such a good chap.

He has a freezemark of F17 which can look like FJ7

I brought him three years ago and traced his microchip to Oakham Vets in Leicester. However, the vets did not record who they put the mircochip in or who the customer was.

His passport doesn't give me any clues either as the previous registered owner was a young lady who has since passed away. I do know that she didn't own him for long prior to the passport being issued.

I would love to know more about him so if you have any info please get in touch.

Have you asked Freezemark.biz about him ?
They should be able to give you some basic details about him via his freezemark registration.

Hi Cally thanks for the reply - I did contact them some time ago and it wasn't very successful however, I might give them another try - maybe if I send a letter they could send on to the person who had him freezemarked.

I know Farmkey are able to say which year horse was freezemarked in and where in the UK it was done, so in theory Freezemark should be able to do the same.

Give them another try and email them the photo of the freezemark as well so they can see what you mean about the 1 looking like a J
