Hi,

Does anybody know dolly? Please I apologise now for posting two links, and not actual images, but so far have only managed to post text so far despite using the instructions in the picture gallery!

Dolly is a tricolour/skewbald mare approx 16.2hh, and my vet has aged her at around 13. She was brought from a lady near Watton, Norfolk on the 5th April this year, and is lame in her offside fore. She is quiet to handle good to box, shoe, traffic, and is also kid/dog proof.

Her passport has very conveniently been lost in the post, but any help in tracing her history would be very gratefully rec'd!

Thanks for taking five minutes to look!!

Is that better??? You just copy and paste the 4th code.
I don't recognise the horse though, sorry, although she looks lovely.

Nothing really, and I doubt the little bit I have is correct! Possibly bought from the spalding/south lincs area last summer? She is a lovely horse, just a shame we haven't seen her sound since she came home!!

Not sure, potentially I might be able to return her, speaking to Trading standards at the moment, but still hoping it will be a minor problem rather than the Navicular style nightmares I'm having at the moment!! Will start with big vets bills after the few more weeks rest the vet prescribed last week, If it is a nasty old injury, rather than something potentially hereditary and I end up keeping her then possibly put her in foal then keep her as a very expensive pet!

She's had three weeks of rest so far and she's still lame, but her feet were in an awful state when I got her so it might just be after effects of a fairly drastic pedicure!

Do you know the name of the people you have bought her from. I live in that area so might be able to find out some info.

That she was never lame while they had her, but there is no sign of any lumps, bumps, heat, swelling etc.. and had the vet and farrier (more than once!!) who both think there is a old underlying problem. Will PM you her name
