Do you know this mare?

Hello all,

I'm looking for the previous owner of my horse, Teasel. I know you're an educated bunch, so I though this would be the place to ask.

I bought her 6/7 years ago from Patsy Day at Stubley Hollow Farm, Dronfield.

Prior to this I have no idea. Having asked Patsy, she seems to think she came from a private home, rather than Ireland where most of her horses come from.

Anyway, this is Teasel.

15hh Welsh D (we think!) mare
14/15 years old now
Dark Bay
White Blaze

Sorry I am no help at all on this post, just had to drop in and say she is lovely

I was reading Horse one day years ago and always take a look at the tracing horse's section, you can imagine my surprise when I saw my Welsh D's pic staring back at me. I would not have believed it but his freezemark didn't lie. I gained amazing info from his old owner who was looking for him, she had owned him from a foal til 7yrs. She was soooo shocked he was out in Norway with me (I imported him over)!

Why not think of putting a tracing horse's ad in Horse explaining that you are seeking old owner(s) for info?

She looks so familiar but can't pin point it, I'm in Worksop so possible I could know of her. A yard in Doncaster keeps springing to mind, think this may have been less than seven years ago though. Has she done anything particular on earlier life, SJ etc? Will ask my friend who kept her horse on the Doncaster yard anyway jst incase x
