Do you leave your horse's fly mask on 24/7?

Question in the title.

Can they see out of it at night?

Beating in mind most of the midges are dawn and dusk - do you leave it on all the time?

yes always, horse has eye problems.

no. I take mine off at about 6 pm when I go up to see my horses in the evening and they go on at 6.30 am

Yep one of mine has sweetitch so is compeltely covered the whole time. no problems thus far

On 24/7, if it rains heavy I take it off to dry for the night (don't want her to have a soggy head!)

I don't see the point in taking it off when i'm down there at 6-7pm because the midges are at there worst!

Yep otherwise her eyes get really swollen and infected!

That's what I thought and as I don't get up at dawn (4am) to run down the road to put it on, then I have been toying with leaving it on all the time.
