I am looking for a horse to ride at present as I am not yet in a position to have my own again for a wee while longer. Happy to muck out, help out, compete, train (i am a trainer) but has to be in stafford area. Many thanks. MAY be able to take loan on full time for a period but this option is dependant on livery availability. Any ideas or suggestions Many thanks.

You're probably better off posting on local Facebook groups. Although the traffic on this forum is very active, it's more of a discussion-type forum rather than advertising :)

Hi whereabouts in Stafford are you? You could try some of the surrounding village pages. I'm in Seighford and there are a few small yards around here and Derrington.

I am more cannock chase area brocton, milford and with the road works at present getting to that area is a nightmare! probably I will look more at the cannock, rugely way but I always feel a little shy actually going onto a yard without them knowing I am coming, if you know what I mean 😊😊

Have you looked on preloved you do get sharer wanted adverts.

When I was looking for rider I found a lovely lady and she still rides for me and that was about 7 years ago now.
Yes, I am looking on there must confess when I was in hertford it was sooo much easier and plenty of yards there, I was actually at Dans Sherriffs for about 6 years with my own horse so met many people but finding it difficult to get my foot in the door somewhere here...☹️ without your own horse

My friend has lessons with him sometimes.

Hopefully someone on here is local to you with some ideas.

Oh yes the roadworks are a nightmare. At least if you do find something that way you will have the Chase to ride on. Hacking round here is rubbish. The only yard I know towards that way is Buxtons, might be worth popping in there.
