I have a grey gelding with the wrong passport, he was imported from Ireland and somehow the passports must have got mixed up and I have ended up with a passport for a bay gelding instead of a grey so if anyone out there knows of a bay irish gelding with a passport in the name of Collins Star I have there passport and they have mine, it would be great to get it sorted, thanks for looking

I'd check his whorls & see if they match those on the passport diagram. He may have greyed out as LauraWinter says. I once had a grey & the first description had him as bay (foal). There was another diagram where he was down as grey in the same passport.

The reason this all came to light is the fact that the microchip doesnt match the passport, so I rang the irish horse board and they confirmed his microchip to be that of Collins Star, the 2 horses in question were bred by the same breeder and imported to the uk together hence the passports obviously got mixed up when they were sold on over here, so someone has a passport in the name of Collins Star belonging to my grey and I have there passport for the bay
