those with dogs - interested to hear if you do. Ive always been to scared to, even if the poison in inaccessible to the dogs, Im worried they would find a 'body'. A friend lost one of her dogs after a neighbour put down poison and the culprit went into my friend's garden to die.

No i wouldnt as at work (stables with no dogs) there was poisen down which the rats obsviously ate and there was bright green coloured rat pooh the same colour as the poisen!! And we all know how much dogs like to eat pooh!!!:D;)
But having 2 terriors means ive got my own vermin contol!!!:D

I don't use poison in case the wrong animal gets poisoned. I have always found dogs to be the best method of vermin control, usually terriers although my springer is a good hunter too :)

I used to but then had two dogs that would try to eat it!! Got myself two very good cats and they do a great job. They are getting on a bit now but still keep the vermin at bay. One of them even catches and eats squirrels.
