Do you recognise this dog?

The liver and white spaniel shown in the following link has been purchased by a group of people from the Cocker Crazy FB page following and advert by a man who said that she was a trained gun dog and asked for only £150 or SWAP FOR A GUN!! Something about this rang alarm bells with other dog lovers and they have gone to lengths to purchase her and remove her from her previous owner. They have concerns that she might have been stolen, may have had a litter of pups and is now being moved on. Please look carefully at the picture and, if you think you recognise her, contact Angie Tee through her post on Cocker Crazy. Tess, the dog, is being transported to Angie tomorrow and will be taken for a microchip scan. Thanks for your help x

Clicked on the offering, but it's apparently unavailable.

If the dog has had her tail docked, and if it was done legally, then she will be chipped, it's a legal requirement. At least the breeder can be traced, and with luck the chip can be matched to her registration, and if ownership was transferred from the breeder, then the owner original owner can be traced, possibly!

Can you post a pic which is visible? I keep and breed Cockers, and Liver & White for a Cocker, is an unusual colour. I would be interested to see her.

Alec.

Can't see the picture either, but Alec is right, if it is docked it will be microchipped. It certainly sounds a bit suspicious.

So sorry, didn't realise that the link wouldn't work for others. Pictures are posted on "Cocker Crazy"(closed group hence unavailable link I think) facebook page and also on "Help Find Elvis the Hound"(open) facebook page. She doesn't have a docked tail but will be scanned for a microchip today.

Good news, I received this through FB earlier today and did share so it is good to know that she has been chipped and will have a good home.
