Obviously not when the weather is to bad but, in general, how often do you ride when able to?

I've had a few issues with C, mounting has been a nightmare but with lots of groundwork I'm getting the time it takes to get on down to about 5 minutes. I rode yesterday for about half an hour and today for an hour and a half......so happy!

She hasn't been worked regularly since last year but she seems happy and I've even been popping her over a few small jumps eeek :D

I used to ride 6days a week.. Had a break during the snow! My mares is off soon so now not riding till june when i back my 3yr old :D so ive now taking up running,

I attempt to as my horses could do with it, but currently managing around 4 times a week as life keeps getting in the way :)

At the moment I'm riding one every other day and lunging another inbetween, but once the one being lunged is muscled and fit enough to be ridden then I will be riding everyday :)

Err no, but my cob is 20 and doesnt object to being ridden 4 times a week or not at all - he is the same, always has been. I am afraid work rather gets in the way. My daughter does as madame needs it, plus she is eventing and needs to keep up the fitness.

Now the nights are getting lighter I can start to ride after work so I'm aiming for 5/6 times week.

I'm thinking her recent bad manners on the ground are on account of her not being ridden enough!

If I could, I would.

However my 4yo is just being brought back into work so will prob be 1/2 times a week.
The lighter nights will help but I'm going to have a busy year ahead with uni so it will be a case of squeezing in the time to ride whilst maintaining some form of consistency!

Trying to do twice a day at the moment because he is turned out a lot less than usual due to flooded fields. Tiring, but it keeps him happy.

I have hardly ridden my two over the last year as I have health issues, my fields were too wet and I didn't have a school. I have only been able to hack in company as one won't hack alone and the other trips ocasionally and I don't feel save going too far on her alone.
I've just had an arena built so I started them back in gentle work last week and my friend is going to help me start getting the big mare to hack alone over the next few weeks so I'm hoping I'll be riding everyday very soon :0)

I ride everyday, most days my horse plus one of my trainers horses to get more practice and help him out. Horses have Sundays off though, so just get turned out and/or lunged. We do have two indoor arenas, plus an outdoor carriere with great footing.

Riding is what keeps me sane really, I think I would probably turn into a murderer or something if kept from riding!
