Do you ride in a body protector?

The problem with too much saftey equipement is that riders feel immortal and dont always gain the correct skill levels for what they are trying to do when they feel safein the equipment. Also so much money is spent proving that these things are safe but nothing is spent to see if they have actually caused the injuries or the accident. Educate riders first .

Sorry, I don't agree with this. I still don't want to fall off, BP or no BP.

BTW another vote for airowear outline.

Agree with this.

I only wear one when the venue dictates it. Otherwise, I feel safer unemcumbered by a BP.

I wear one xc only on my horse - he is pretty difficult to fall off! I did used to wear one hunting, and still would depending upon the terrain / jumping involved. I would also wear one every time riding a youngster (have been recently) or a strange horse. I find mine very comfortable actually, but more difficult to dismount!

My daughter will not even sit on her pony without one - she automatically puts it on and says she would feel naked without it, which I think is great.
