i go off travelling for 6 months?!?!!

hopefully this doesnt class as an advert!!

So i've decided to go to south korea for a while, planning on 6 months may be less if i hate it, may be more if i love it!! i really want to keep my horse for when i get back and i already have a fab sharer in place who wouldnt want to give him up, but wont take him on full loan. do you think this is realistic to find...

i would want him to stay on at his yard. he is happy there and there are people who i trust to look over him! he went off on full loan before and came back in a right state so especially with me leaving the country i want him close to my friends. My sharer pays his livery bill and rides twice a week, mainly weekends. i therefore would need someone to do him the rest of the time and take on the other costs. it is a good deal really as the sharer pay more than half, for less than half the riding bless her!!!

By the way (slightly advertising part!!) i am guessing this will prob be from march so pm me if you are potentially interested (he is stabled in ascot berks and is a 14.2 brilliant alrounder

do you think this is feasible?!?

i dont see why not if you are totally honest in your advertising!
although if you are doing it for march id crack on trying to find someone as I would want to vet them before leaving them with my horse for 6 months!

can you not afford to pay upkeep etc of your horse whilst your sharer mucks out and rides it? (as in you pay full livery)

god no...i wish...but im poor!!! thats why i had to get my sharer in the first place purely for the financial side of it! yeah you're right i need to crack on... but i only decided to go today its all very whirlwind and exciting!!! hate the thought of leaving him though

I would see if your current sharer wants to do more than her two days a week first off and then find another sharer (or two) to take on the other days... maybe theres a mum on your yard or someone with a youngster who cant be ridden who might be willing to take on one day a week or something?
