Thanks I know, his neck is huge! Glad it's not just me who think he has lost weight, it's sometimes hard to see when you see them everyday. We have been working hard to get it off.

Will the crest and 'fat pads' behind his shoulders naturally go as he loses more weight, or is there anything I can do to help them along??

Yes and the shape of his bum has changed too now more sloped instead of round.

I used to live near a lady who won the cobs at wembley one year & she used to hack out with plastic feed sacks tucked under saddle & across shoulders to make him sweat on his shoulders . I guess it worked as he did win his class.

I wouldn't like to go for a run with plastic sacks on me so I definitely wouldn't put them on my horse, how uncomfortable must that be!!!
