Do you think she's in foal too?!!

I know she's fat and we're working on getting her weight down as much as poss, with extra work and restricted grazing, but I had two people, yes TWO people, ask me on Friday if she was in foal!!!!

She's 14.3hh and a fairly h/w cob. She was about 585kg approx a month ago on the weight tape. She has a very guttered bum but a sway back too which certainly doesn't help the fat look!!

the sway back is deceptive and would make her more inclined to pregnancy comments, I wonder if that makes it harder to contract her abs?

I only say this because frank always looks like a much slimmer pone when being riden when he applies some muscle to hold it all in!
 
When we bought a 14.3 cob which turned out to be in foal, I first became suspicious when I was riding behind her on a 16.3 and could see that her 'waist' (in front of hips) was thickening. She must have been 3 - 4 mths pregnant at this time. From your photos, your mare does seem to still go in, in all the right places. Can you have a look at her from above?
 
Oh no its 'Blossom Gate' again! Don't know if you read my posts but we have just been through huge trauma on this subject to find out that apparently my horse is huge on only soaked hay! Only asdvice I would give would be get her scanned for confirmation don't go near blood tests! Let us know how you go........
 
Not sure about getting a photo/look from above very easily, but I don't think she is pregnant. Her previous owners had her in foal the year before last but she foaled early and lost it, so I'm sure they would have said if they'd have tried again with her.
I think she's just fat and her back doesn't help, but it's a bit soul destroying that people ask if she's pregnant! It's like them asking me if I'm pregnant, no I'm just fat!!!

Wow Storminateacup! They are twins!! Am so glad some else suffers with the hair, the gutter bum and the funny back! She did have my saddler moaning!!

One of the people who asked if she was in foal then offered me his coloured gypsy stallion!!! Maybe he was just touting for business not winding me up!!!

Jacks saddle was made to measure by his previous owner. Its a dressage style in extra wide.
Its funny they look so identical. She even has a pink nose - does she get sunburn?.
Jack is supposed to be 15hh on his passport but thats withers not the middle of his back, he is an adorable gentleman, totally viceless.
If she has a foal and its the same as her I ll buy it.
