Pretty pony.
1st ears back ?
The 2nd photo ,background too busy.
Other browband is so big it just doesnt look right on the tiny head.
Sorry to be rather negative, I would find a different place to take them .

The last two pics the browband looks far too big , and he looks a bit spooked in the last one aswell.

May be better to get someone else to hold him and take the pics from slightly further away too ang get his head turned more towards the camera (use a scrunchy plastic bag maybe?)

It looks like you are much taller than the pony! ;) Maybe bob down a bit while you take the photo, so that you are level with the pony's head. :)

Ummm, to be honest, and you did ask, sorry no.

As said, the browbands really are a bit too big for this particular pony, they look out of proportion even the ones that do fit, this style doesn't really suit him (only my opinion mind) and therefore it looks awkward.

The angles are awkward and flatter neither the pony or the product. Again, as said try to either look up a bit or at the same level.

...and finally, the clarity/ sharpness of the photos isn't quite right either, if this is going in a brochure, on a site, or as advertising/mail shots then it looks a bit amateurish.

Now I feel guilty, so sorry:(

Saying all that, if I liked the browbands and wanted one then the photos wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

If this is the pony that is going to be used to model the browbands, then the browbands need to be smaller. The second one looks far too bulky and big and although they look well made, the colours of the first one are a bit yuk. Sorry just my opinion. Can they not be made to look a bit daintier or a bigger model used?

if these are to advertise the browbands then I would use a different horse as they do not suit the pony. (lovely pony btw, nothing against her)

Sorry I have to agree with everyone else.......

The browbands are far too big and bulky for the pony's delicate head so make the browbands look silly (not good for advertising!) but obviously you can't change that!

I wouldn't worry about taking full body shots - how about something like this:

Or this....

Make sure you take the photo in good light and crouch down so when you take the photo you're level with the pony's head. Try and get the pony's ears forward and eyes alert.

Hope this helps!

There are a few companies online that do this type of thing, but you will notice that they are very careful to put the right style and colours with the right horse.

I think it's quite a big deal at higher level showing tbh and I'm not convinced that those would make the grade.

Try googling some sites to get ideas?

I think the pics need to be better quality but also smaller, finer browbands. And personal preference I would rather see the pony in a plain snaffle as the Universal looks quite 'busy'
