Well, it doesn't rock my boat, and I would be quite worried about supporting the weight of the lance for the jousting..however most of the horses used are ex polo ponies and I am guessing that anybody halfway competent at polo could make a reasonable job of this

It's actually great fun there is another poster on this forum who used to do this with me, and I believe she still has the photos somewhere. It was brill fun, but the jousting part wasn't too bad as your sticks are specially weighted to the rider so they are not very heavy and are made from large bamboo canes. Oh and we rode against the stunt riders who were the ones that fell off!

I wanted to do that a couple years ago at Powderham in my uni holidays but you had to live onsite and only male accomdation was provided so it ruled me out very quickly. would love to do it though

wow thats something ive always wanted to do since playing horseball,you are hanging off the side of the horse to pick up the ball galloping along you get this amazing rush
