Today me and the OH had a tiff, so i went down to the yard to chill and ride. And even though i did not hint to guinness in anyway i was p*ssed off. i jumped on her an rode and she was a bag, tense and on one ? Do you think they pick up on our emotions ?

i dont bother schooling or even goin near the school if i'm in a bad mood as its not worth the terrible session i will have lol
i find tho that a nice hack just chilling tends to cheer me up x

Oh yes! They have to be able to read the subtlest of movement, and we give them off by the ton lol.

A bad mood will easily communicate itself to your horse.

If I'm in one (who? me?! lol), I go out for a troll with no expectations of my ned other than that we'll get back home in one piece and still together. Helps chill me out and puts me back in a good mood

Absolutely they do. I dont ride if Im in a really bad mood as we get nowhere. My poor horse has to put up with me being a nervous wreck for dressage competitions, he tenses up but is very good about it considering.
