Most dogs chase balls, or birds, or eachother...
mine is obsessed with flies.
If theres one crawling along the floor, she goes into 'alert' mode, walks over and stares at it, with al the concentration she can muster, and looks quite confused, follwing it with her nose- she doesnt touch them.
Quite a few months ago, there was one on its last legs on the floor, crawling around her, she kept looking like she was going to paw it, and stopping, and she kept sniffing it, so it got stuck up her nose
but she snorted it out, and she let it crawl over her and everything, then it tried to make the escape and she followed it for literally an hour, before losing interest...
do yours chase flies? Shes not bothered about the cat or pheasant that have claimed our garden as their own, even if the pheasant comes right up to the window...
Shes off to big dog guide dog training as of moday, living in kennels for the next 6 months or so, i guess the most interesting thing there with be flies...
